At times, HOPE may pre-purchase courses to be made available to staff for free. eCornell offers individual courses as well as certificates, which are comprised of 4-6 courses and take up to 3 months to complete. eCornell courses do not count toward masters programs at Cornell or other universities – they are intended for professional growth only.

eCornell Distinctives:

  • Courses have fixed start and end dates
  • Courses typically last 2-3 weeks
  • No fixed lecture or meeting times – students can access the course anytime within the 2-3 week window
  • Courses require approximately 8-10 hours per week
